Your account: emails, your data and deleting it

Email choices

On your Profile, two switches are yours alone: an email when a campaign finishes, and the Monday summary (owners and admins). Everything starts on. In-app notices still appear whichever way you choose.

Download my data

Download my data gives you one file with your profile, your workspaces, the templates you wrote, your support tickets and notifications. Owners and admins can also include the workspace: its contacts, lists, campaigns, templates and do-not-email list. Passwords are never included. Very large exports stop at 50,000 rows of each kind and say so in the file.

Delete my account

This is permanent. Download your data first.

• You are removed from every workspace you belong to. Templates you wrote stay with the workspace.
• If you are the only person in a workspace you own, that workspace is deleted with all its contacts, lists, templates and campaigns. The page names it before you confirm.
• If you own a workspace that has other people in it, you must hand over ownership on the Team page first.
• You confirm by typing your own email address.

Signing in

• The eye on a password box shows what you typed.
• When you choose a password, the rules tick off as you type. Only length (8 characters) is required; a letter and a number, and not using your email, are advice.
• A wrong email and a wrong password both say "Email or password is wrong", on purpose: it doesn't tell a stranger which one exists.
• After signing in you land on the exact page you were trying to reach, filters included.

Shortcuts, the menu and what's new

• Press ? for the shortcut list. Press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows) for a menu that jumps anywhere or starts something new. g then a letter jumps to a section; n starts a campaign.
• Letter shortcuts never fire while you are typing in a box.
• What's new in the sidebar lists recent changes in plain words, with a dot until you've read the latest. It also has Show the tour again, which replays the new-campaign walkthrough.

If something looks wrong

• "You own a workspace that has other people in it": hand over ownership first.
• I deleted my account by mistake: it can't be undone from the app. Contact support straight away with your email; recovery is not guaranteed.
• The download is missing contacts: only owners and admins can include the workspace, and each kind stops at 50,000 rows.
• The shortcuts don't work: click on the page first, make sure the cursor isn't in a text box, and press Esc to close any open window.
