What a campaign's status means, and archiving
Starts, Sending, Next email, Follow-ups to come, Finished, Paused and Archived; the four tabs; and putting old campaigns away.
Each campaign's status says what is really happening right now, so you never have to work it out from the numbers.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Starts Tue 09:30 | Started, but nothing has gone out yet: the first emails wait for the campaign's sending hours. The time is in the campaign's own time zone; hover the status to see which. |
| Sending · 9 of 16 | Emails are going out now. 9 of the 16 queued so far have gone. |
| Next email Wed 09:30 | Some went out; the rest wait for the next sending hours (for example the hour limit was reached, or the day's hours ended). |
| Follow-ups to come | Everything queued has gone, and people who haven't replied will get the next email when it's due. |
| Repeats · next … | A repeating campaign and when its next run starts. |
| Paused | Nothing goes out until you press Resume. Waiting emails are kept, not lost. |
| Finished | Nothing is waiting and nobody has a follow-up left. |
| Archived | Put away by you. It keeps all its results. |
The tabs
Active has everything starting, sending, waiting or paused. Drafts has campaigns you started setting up. Finished and Archived keep the list short. The number next to each tab is how many it holds.
Archiving
On the Finished tab, or on a finished campaign's page, press Archive. It moves to Archived with all its numbers, and Bring back returns it. Archiving never deletes anything; to delete a campaign, use Delete on its page.
Why Archive is missing
Only a campaign with nothing waiting can be archived, so nothing is ever hidden mid-send. If emails are still waiting or follow-ups are still to come, pause it first or let it finish.
Example
You ran three test campaigns to yourself. Open Finished, press Archive on each, and the Active tab shows only real outreach.
