Hostinger SMTP Setup
Connect a Hostinger email account, including the correct host and port and the domain records to publish.
Hostinger mailboxes work with your normal mailbox password, no app password needed. The details are in hPanel under Emails → your domain → Configuration settings.
Host: smtp.hostinger.com Port: 465 (587 also works) Username: you@yourdomain.com (the full address) Password: your mailbox password From: the same address as the username
Use the full email address as the username
Just the part before the @ will fail authentication. This is the most common Hostinger mistake.
Sending limits
Hostinger email plans typically allow a few hundred recipients per hour and a few thousand per day, varying by plan. Check your plan and set your caps below it: a per-hour limit is best respected with a per-minute cap.
Example
On a plan allowing ~500/hour, set per minute 8 (≈480/hour) and a daily cap matching your plan. Vecta then paces sending automatically.
Don't skip your DNS records
Because you're sending from your own domain, publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC records. Hostinger provides the values in hPanel, and Vecta can verify them for you.
- Check them under Deliverability once published.
- Read SPF, DKIM & DMARC Explained for what each one does.
